Which one came First, the Chicken or the egg

Which one came first the egg or the chicken. This questions has puzzled many people and had got them to think. Many people think that the chicken came first because God created animals and soo he created the chicken at the same time. But other people think that a animal way back in the B.C was evolving and it laid an egg and a chicken came to be. This urban myth/legend is yet to be known.
